Being in conflict can make us feel tight in a knot or stuck.

We can feel frustrated, angered, saddened, or helpless. Almost always, we do not like the way we feel about ourselves when we are in conflict with another person, especially when that conflict involves people we care about.

Anna Tyrrell & Associates understand interpersonal conflict.

Through mediation services, we provide a safe, neutral, compassionate process to help resolve conflict between parents, family members, neighbors, and colleagues.

Mediation is confidential.

It allows communication between people in disagreement to move them toward resolutions. The mediator is neutral and helps facilitate discussion to resolve the disputed issues. Once participants agree to a solution to their conflict, their agreement is written up in contract form. Negotiations between the participants are confidential.

Mediation is efficient.
Save money and time!

Mediation involves negotiations between the participants. How long it takes to resolve disputes is up to the participants. The mediator will guide participants in ways to most effectively communicate with each other and address communication breakdowns (roadblocks).

In cases of divorce, mediation is a tool to help participants resolve issues related to dissolving their marriage in order to eliminate or reduce the need for a contested divorce.

Mediation is respectful.

Mediation allows the participants to speak for themselves and to be heard. Participants determine the outcome of resolving their dispute. In mediation, participants are encouraged to seek accurate information and understand all of the particulars of their conflict and possible outcomes. They will know and understand what they can expect following mediation. In many cases, participants find ways to get along better or have clearer expectations about their relationship with each other. Mediation is respectful, empowering, and helps maintain dignity.
